I can't thank you enough. The bass is AWESOME!! And it sounds pretty
darn close to what I was hearing in my head with these woods and
electronics. It plays like a DREAM. I was up until 3am last night
(no lie--I had to get up at 7:30!) just playing it at my girlfriend's
house. I'm just floored at how LIVE it sounds acoustically. I can't
remember ever playing a bass with such a great acoustic sound. I came
home this morning and plugged in with just a FLAT setting and it
sounded great! Punchy, present, even: all the things I was looking
for. I can't wait to really play a few gigs and "dig in" on
this
thing!

Willy-
So this bass ROCKS!!! I played it on a Billy gig last
night--outdoors, wet, cool, sticky--not the best conditions--and it
just blew me away! I also got ALOT of other compliments on the bass
from other guys in the band. If you haven't heard from anyone else
yet, they really dug the bass. It really sounded great and it played
GREAT. Everything I've been looking for in a sound: punchy, present,
kinda bridge-pickupy without being thin or nasal sounding, and a sound
I can still slap on. It was great.
I really love it. ...I just realized that I was having
so much
fun playing and it really got to me. I wasn't thinking about
anything--just playing and having fun--unlike playing my Fender or my
Fodera, or whatever. thanks, SO much Willy. I have 3 more gigs this
weekend and I'm RUNNING out of the door because I can't wait to play
again. I'm sorry for bogging down your email--I just really love the
bass. thanks for making playing electric bass FUN again for me!

Willy-
The bass is amazing! It passed the final test last
night when I had a
chance to record with it and hear what it sounded like through a
board. It was awesome! It feels unbelievable and after about a month
of playing it, it just gets better and better. It's responding almost
exactly the way I want and the sound is just THERE..... It's
really amazing....
... The thing is a JOY to play and everybody
that sees it and heard
it have given it nothing but compliments. Thanks again, Willy!
